BEAUTYCOUNTER RETREAT

In 2022, a group of Managing Directors based in the Twin Cities engaged KQ & Co. (formerly Balanced Roots Retreats) to produce a three-day leadership retreat — their first in-person gathering since COVID, bringing team members together from across the country.

Designed as a 3-day, 2-night experience with flexible accommodations, the retreat blended strategy, connection, and restoration. The weekend began with a private kickoff dinner at W.A. Frost & Co., followed by a thoughtfully curated Saturday featuring yoga, a clean-eats brunch, strategic planning sessions, meditation, and an evening of playful team bonding at Can Can Wonderland.

The experience concluded with a guided hike at Afton State Park, coffee and pastries, and a closing circle — creating space for reflection and renewed alignment before guests returned home.
